Green Living

I love how green can envoke so many different feelings and moods. Here it feels refreshing and happy. The colours isn't too bright where it hurts the eye. Fair enough that Green is considered the color of peace and ecology.
Below, Green is channeling a lil' 70s vibe yet still funky and fresh. Colour Psychology believes that Green offers a sense of renewal and harmony. Seems perfect for the bathroom.
Next it's feeling relaxed and calm (yet a little playful). Apparently, on a ‘primitive’ psychological level, Green tells us that we are safe - due to green in nature symbolizing fertile grounds....interesting... Photos from livingetc & despiretoinspire

pretty unattainables

well i had this handbag once. it was baby blue leather, i know because the lovely lady in Thailand held a cigarette lighter to it to prove it to me! sure it cost me a pittance but i loved that bag. i didn't even know who balenciaga was when i got it.

here are the real deal. still so pretty.
wish my version didn't break down. i don't think the real ones do that but i don't think i'll ever know for sure either!

Hair-spiration

I change my hair do and colour heaps and here are my inspirations that i've used for any event that recurred me to put effort into my do. I did the Rhianna Asymmetric bob in 2007. That was awesome. I'll definitely do it again. But now I miss my long hair.I've done the blonde bun with an orchid in my hair for a friend's wedding. At the moment, my friends say I'm channeling Gwen Stefani during her Harajuku phase. Then there was the Serena look...I wish my hair was long again...

This one? I wish I could do that for real

Pimp my Office Desk

Design*Sponge have the coolest shopping guides with all the various catergories to go nuts browsing thru. Check out these funky office accessories- all under $100! My favourite is that lil' paperclip holder by momastore. Too cool! I'm also a big fan of the chalkboard cabinet. It's functional and practical on so many levels.

A Stitch in Time...

Found on Feeling Stitchy. It's an embroidered love note on an embroidered lined paper. Too adorable. It would last longer than paper i guess...I could see that hanging on a wall in a study or bedroom.

yoshitomo nara

i bought yoshitomo nara's book of postcards. he's a japanese artist with a wicked sense of humour.

Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara's depictions of precocious children and benevolent dogs present childhood as a paradox of perfection and boredom. Suspended in a state of arrested development, his figures are caught somewhere between nostalgic innocence and youthful impatience.

dapper wedding

Themed weddings amaze me - how do you coordinate all your guests to keep to your dress code?

Ginny and Ed's wedding had me gobsmacked: the pastel palette, the gorgeous handmade headpieces and the immaculate detailing are all perfectly in keeping to their 1920's theme and all their guests look superb too.

living creatively - needing ideas?

we don't feature entire websites a whole lot, but i thought i should share fairly good resource for crafters. living creatively easy to navigate and has a few gem links. i think the 'Projects' link and 'Current Issues' are great short reads. maybe sell your gems online through their store... explore!

japanese reno

How amazing is this transformation? This is truly an incredible act of space maximising design skill. Clean crisp white open spaces (well possibly just the illusion of space) - you have to love the japanese aesthetic.

Disposable Tastings

Tast.es puts your lame spork and paper plates to shame. They have the hippest disposable catering products I have ever seen (as well as the cleverest domain name ".es" usage.) The curves and lines of these products are so chic. I can't want to throw a cocktail party and serve my green tea mousse in those awesome clear shot glasses.-charli

Marie Antionette meets Pop Art

My new find, rougeliving has changed my dream interior design's house. I see french shaggy chic meets retro cool. It's Marie Antionette meets Pop Art. That sounds awful but I think the below findings at Rougeliving will give you an idea of what i'm imagining. Perfect for my dream loft apartment. "It's a Loft. Well, aren't you the cool guy?"- token, irrelevant Juno quote :P
