Our friends are off to New York in June...

treasure hunt party

This was an old post that Jordan Ferney revisited recently and I am glad she did. She's one talented lady and an amazing friend. She carefully constructed this very involved and exciting treasure hunt for her friend's birthday party - complete with clues hidden underwater at the jetty to a holi powder colour fight at the end.

Amazing.

Blurry Beauty

Happy Eye Candy Friday!

Stumbled on the term Bokeh the other day. I was a little worried I was going to click into some freaky Japanese fetish...but I was pleasantly surprised to find these gorgeous airy photography. The term is in reference to the Japanese word "boke", meaning blur or haze. They are so magical looking that they've actually cheered me up on this gloomy autumn morning.

There is something so dreamy and appealing about Alice in Wonderland.

The brilliant team at style me pretty featured a series of conceptualised photo shoots with this theme. So pretty and whimsical.

I particularly liked this one because of the bride's short hair - that's me...always looking out for ways to embellish short hair.

This decoration theme would easily translate well into a bridal shower or even a birthday party. How sophisticated!
