Made: Oobee kit

I made it from a kit by Maze & Vale which I bought at the Finders Keepers Market (Melbourne April 2012).  I was sold on the fact that the creator said her little girl loves it and this print in particular.  Love a sincere review (!).

The pattern was easy to follow.  I didn't use "wool fleece" for the filling as recommended cos I couldn't be bothered hunting it down online.  At the market, the finished oobees on sale were quite firm so I bought polyester wadding (crunchier and firmer than hobby fill).  With embroidering the eyes and nose, I didn't have a clue so I just faked "backstitch" the best I could.  The fabric was cute corduroy and the print looked and felt nice so no probs with this rubbing off! Took me about... maybe a week and a half on and off to finish it.

R isn't sure what it is... but it's cute and that's all that matters.
