Banksy & The Olympics

With the Olympics starting tomorrow morning, the question has been whether London's crackdown on street graffiti will be destroying Banksy's latest additions.  Featuring a pole vaulter and a javelin thrower, Banksy hasn't been deterred from making his political statement.

Sock bunny

It's baby boom time around here and I've been accumulating my own DIY toys for baby.  This was inspired by a DIY I found here to create a gorgeous teddy bear from a sock.

Since rabbits seem to be the theme for the baby, I made a bunny to add to the growing collection.

The socks were brand new, don't worry.  The boy didn't particularly fancy their bright colors when he received them as a christmas gift from the relos!  At least this way they were well recycled.

Trend Watch: Flower Power!

When this miserable winter weather, it's nice to look at the fashion runways overseas to see what's in store for us when summer returns to lil' Melbourne.

It seems big, bold floral patterns are a big hit during the C/R 13!
